Philippines adventure dreaming

[ 0 ] August 22, 2012 |

Are you planning a trip to the Philippines, or still in destination dream mode? Deciding on where to go next in your travels can be a challenge, but it doesn’t have to be a boring one. All of us sift through digital content, looking for travel inspiration or even just to dream about to distract us from a boring day at work. We read (more like skim) through articles, and surf websites trying to decide where to go next. Something may strike a small spark of excitement, but the lusty excitement doesn’t usually happen until we start looking at photos of potential destinations.

For those of you who are still searching for that lusty travel excitement, this post is for you. Trust me when I say that by the time you reach the bottom of this post, you’ll be online and typing in the words ‘manila holiday deals’. These photos are that inspiring.

Taal Volcano

A stunning volcano and lake located in the province of Batangas. This volcano shows signs of unrest, but has been quiet since 1977.

Manila Ocean Park

Aquariums are awesome, and Manila is no exception. You could easily spend an entire day at Manila Ocean Park.

Quiapo Church

Home of the Black Nazarene, which is reported to have miraculous powers. This church has burned down once, was partially destroyed in an earthquake, and almost destroyed in a second fire. But here it still stands!

Boracay Beach, Panay Island

This photo explains it perfectly!

St. Paul’s National Park

Take a canoe ride through an underground river. It’s something you will never forget!

I could fill this post with hundreds of photos. The Philippines is full of amazing experiences and activities. To plan your trip sit down and make a list of your ‘must see/do’ activities and experiences, then make a ‘wishlist’. Once your lists are completed, go online and look at even more photos -to get your travel juices flowing even more.

Keep your mind open. Step out of your comfort zone. Leave the schedule at home, and travel with only a list of ideas, and a desire to explore.
