There’s nothing like the fear of getting on a bus in a foreign country, the fear of getting on the wrong bus, the fear if getting off at the wrong stop! It was this anxiety that plagued me as a boarded yet another Chinese overnight bus.

Puyi Town in Yangshuo is a quintessential rural Chinese town. Life goes by simply and modestly as life does in a village not tailor made tailor made for the delicate tastes of tourists.

There is so much to see and do around Yangshuo, it was impossible to fit it all in the short time I was there. I was however determined to take in its most breathtaking sites, get a good feel of the area and the life of its people.

Out of all the beautiful temples I visited in Bangkok, Wat Phra Kaew was by far the most spectacular. This massive temple complex is an overwhelming combination of fine details and colours that took my breath away.
